eLearning Sample: Scaffolding Basics

Add life to compliance training

In this modified sample of a few of the pages from this simple course (built in Lectora Inspire), you can see some examples of how I modernized the look of a simple scaffolding safety training. The design is consistent, interactive, and visually appealing.

I chose to share this work, because it really helped my team to see the possibilities of merging graphic design skill with eLearning. By swapping traditional grey photos of real life scaffolding with a few different types of illustration I created depth to each page and interest. Each of the illustrated images is interactive and pulls the learner into the information and walks them through it. The majority of these vector images are 100% custom made in Illustrator.

While this course has many interactive features - the one I am most proud of walks the learner through the mental checklist they must go through prior to stepping foot on a scaffold. The learner answers questions and is asked to check the image to find any issues. All answers are supported with information to help the learner understand anything that might be unclear.
